The village of Lynden is centrally located between Hamilton, Brantford and Cambridge. The Canada Day festivities take place on July 1st each year. They start at 3:00 pm. with a parade which works its way down the main street to the Lion’s Park. There will be food booths, entertainment, children’s games and other activities until late afternoon. A fireworks display takes place at dusk so please make it a family event.
A shady area of the park will be reserved for you to display and relax during the Canada Day celebrations. Last year we exceeded 100 vehicles and 20 pieces of farm equipment. Bring your classic, custom, rat rod, etc. and show it off!
First, Second and Third place for cars and trucks, First and Second place for agricultural will be awarded at 6:00 p.m. Draw prizes throughout the afternoon. Dash plaques will be provided to all participants.
